On the evening of November 9th, 2023, music aficionados, design enthusiasts, and engineering connoisseurs gathered at a distinguished event hosted by Dubai Audio and Linn, taking place in the creative house of The Originals. This exclusive affair unfolded as a celebration of music's timeless allure, impeccable design, and precision engineering, promising attendees an unforgettable journey into the realm of audio excellence.
The venue, adorned with sophistication, served as the perfect backdrop for an evening dedicated to original experiences, promoting the fusion of art, culture and technology. From the moment guests stepped into the space, the air buzzed with anticipation for the musical soiree about to unfold.
Leading the musical expedition was none other than Gordon Inch, the esteemed turntable specialist from Linn. As the curator of the night's sonic adventure, Inch guided attendees through a melodic journey featuring legendary artists, their performances rendered with unparalleled quality on Linn's superior music systems. The seamless blend of classic tunes and cutting-edge technology set the stage for an audio experience that transcended the ordinary.
The centrepiece of the evening was the exclusive showcase of the Linn LP12-50 turntable. An iconic and rare masterpiece, this turntable was designed in collaboration with the legendary Sir Jony Ive, marking Linn's 50th anniversary. With only 250 units in existence worldwide, the LP12-50 became the focal point of the celebration, symbolising the perfect marriage of innovation and craftsmanship. Guests were invited to experience the magic of their favourite vinyl records on this extraordinary turntable, elevating the act of listening to an art form.
The exclusive evening took place as a follow up of the previously held Turntable Workshop and aimed to create an upscale experience for selected Dubai Audio customers as well as dedicated audio enthusiast of the city, to further strengthen the new circle of audio enthusiasts who are redefining the culture of sound in hand with Dubai Audio and its brand partners.
