We partnered with The Huntr, the UAE’s premier curators of culture, food, and lifestyle, to create a sonic experience that drifted as effortlessly as the vessel it was hosted on. Set aboard a sleek 22-metre yacht, this intimate event marked the launch of PAPER Edition 3, The Huntr’s beautifully printed guide to the people and projects shaping the UAE. With just 44 guests attending across two sessions, the atmosphere was designed to be private, spontaneous, and deeply connected to the moment.

A Floating Jazz Bar: Curating Sound at Sea

At Dubai Audio, we believe sound should be a presence rather than a spectacle. For this event, we built systems designed to support the experience without overpowering it, ensuring aesthetic cohesion and flexibility in a unique marine environment.

We created two distinct listening zones to mirror the movement of the sea:

1. The Open Air: SOWA Wireless Freedom
Throughout the vessel’s exterior, SOWA battery-powered hi-fi speakers played in perfect unison. These speakers delivered warm, balanced sound from bow to stern, completely cable-free. It was hi-fi in motion, proving that audiophile quality does not need to be tethered to a wall.

2. The Vinyl Lounge: McIntosh & Sonus faber
Indoors, we crafted a dedicated vinyl listening space that felt like a high-end living room floating on the Gulf. Guests were invited to flip through a curated jazz playlist, settle into the sound, and engage with the music physically.

The setup featured:

Although the charter was arranged via a third-party service, the spirit of the afternoon was defined by the shared values between Dubai Audio and The Huntr: curation, subtlety, and an attention to feeling.
