When we approach the topic of electronic music, few will deny the influence on Slackwax on the European scene. The duo of Bernd Batke and Peter Hoppe came together in 2005. Based in Germany, Hoppe left his profession as a music producer headquartered in Nuremberg, to put together unique elements of jazz, blues country and soul music with Batke, the one who led the neo-country band Smokestack Lightnin'.
