Beth Gibbons is an English singer-songwriter best known for lead vocals of the influential trip-hop band, Portishead. Gibbons was born and raised in Exter, Devon, England and pursued her music career at the age of 22. She met her bandmate Geoff Barrow in Bristol. Beyond Portishead, she has collaborated with other artists. On May 17 2024, she released her solo album, “Lives Overgrown”.
