Drawing inspiration from legendary artists like Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, and Nick Drake, Gibbons and Webb created a record that's both deeply personal and universally resonant. It was released on 28 October 2002 in the United Kingdom and on 7 October 2003 in the United States.
