This is the only Bill Evans recording from The Village Gate ever released, offering the listener a table at the front of the stage for a stellar performance by one of jazz’s greatest trios. Vol. 1 includes “Someday My Prince Will Come,” “Emily,” “My Funny Valentine,” and “Yesterdays.”
