CELEBRITY AL DI MEOLA EDITION
The Celebrity Al Di Meola Edition from Clearaudio is a tribute to the award-winning American jazz guitarist. Inspired by his music and his passion for sound quality, this turntable is a masterpiece of technology and design.
The base of the turntable is made of a high-density fibreboard that was developed in close collaboration with Al Di Meola. Inside the device is the latest Clearaudio technology, including the innovative Tacho Speed Control (TSC) system. This continuous real-time control enables precise adaptation to changing factors such as belt speed and automatically performs a speed calibration every time the unit is switched on.
Minimized vibrations like the Jubilee
The multi-O-ring motor mount, known as IMS-Innova, minimizes vibration and ensures smooth playback. This proven design feature has been adopted from the Clearaudio Reference Jubilee turntable.
The unique design of the Celebrity turntable, which is strongly reminiscent of the Les Paul Gibson electric guitar design, combines functionality with a touch of elegance. The control knob serves as a multifunctional touchscreen knob. With just one press you can start the turntable, change the speed or switch to standby mode.

The Celebrity turntable comes with a high-quality all-black or wood design. Each package is limited to 1,000 units and includes a specially numbered Collector’s guitar pick. This work of art, created by Al Di Meola, Impex Records and Clearaudio, is more than just a turntable – it’s a statement of exceptional sound and stylish design.

- Vibration Reduction with IMS-Innova: The Innovative Motor Suspension (IMS), inherited from Clearaudio's Reference Jubilee turntable, minimizes vibrations to maintain clear and smooth sound reproduction.
- Multifunctional Touchscreen Knob: The control knob doubles as a multifunctional touch interface, allowing users to start the turntable, switch between 33 1/3 and 45 RPM speeds, or activate standby mode with a simple press.
- Limited Edition: Only 1,000 units are available, each accompanied by a specially numbered guitar pick and a collector's edition of an Al Di Meola album. The turntable is available in elegant all-black or rosewood veneer finishes.

Just follow the steps below: 1. Remove the cartridge. 2. Adjust the counterweight so that the tonearm 'floats' while not in rest position. 3. Turn the anti-skating screw to get the position of the headshell of the tonearm right above the edge of the platter, where the lead-in groove would be. 4. Mark the position of the anti-skating screw by drawing a line with a pen from the screw head to the tonearm foot. 5. If you are mounting a Concept MM or any other Clearaudio MM V2 cartridge, turn the anti-skating screw 3 times anti-clockwise. If you are mounting a Clearaudio Concept MC cartridge, turn the anti-skating screw 4 times anti-clockwise. 6. Finally, mount your cartridge again and check the tracking force. Please note this is just a quick guide for the standard Clearaudio cartridges provided with the Concept turntable.
We don't offer MM styli on their own. A cartridge's original measured values can't be guaranteed following a self-repair. In such cases, we offer stylus exchange/repair servicing at lower prices for MM cartridges, in which we also clean and double-check the whole cartridge at the same time. Please contact our consultants at the Dubai Audio store for more information and prices.
If a cartridge isn't protected by a proper stylus guard, in our experience the most common causes of broken needles are free-roaming pets, overzealous cleaners and high-spirited children! We recommend always using a stylus guard when the turntable is not in use. If you don't have a stylus guard, you can request a replacement from our team at Dubai Audio and we'd be hapy to help!
Ideally, our Clearaudio cartridges can be used for several decades. External influences such as climate, temperature, humidity, intensity of use, maintenance and the condition of your records can affect the lifespan of the cartridge. The part subject to wear and tear is not the diamond, but the rubber-silicone overlay of the cantilever, which can lose flexibility over the years. If you suspect wear and tear of your cartridge, you can have it double-checked at our store located at Sheikh Zayed Road.
