The Emotion SE package offers a complete solution to the music lover who is looking for superior sound and authentic music reproduction, but without the need for specialist technical help in matching turntable components.
Overview
This technically improved version of the well-known Emotion turntable is based on a semi-transparent chassis designed to reject harmful resonance. A 28mm-thick acrylic platter is belt-driven by a decoupled synchronous motor. The patented ceramic magnetic bearing (CMB) provides superb speed stability.
A resonance-optimised physically separate die cast metal motor housing ensures that motor vibrations cannot harm the sound. This provides maximum speed stability and vibration-free replay of your favourite records from Abba to Zappa, from Beethoven to Schoenberg.
Matched with the SATISFY KARDAN CARBON tonearm and a Clearaudio ARTIST V2 moving magnet (MM) cartridge, the Emotion SE succeeds in extracting even the most delicate information stored in the record groove. Even newcomers to the world of high-end audio can now enjoy maximum accuracy of music reproduction and a superior listening experience.

If a cartridge isn't protected by a proper stylus guard, in our experience the most common causes of broken needles are free-roaming pets, overzealous cleaners and high-spirited children! We recommend always using a stylus guard when the turntable is not in use. If you don't have a stylus guard, you can request a replacement from our team at Dubai Audio and we'd be hapy to help!
Ideally, our Clearaudio cartridges can be used for several decades. External influences such as climate, temperature, humidity, intensity of use, maintenance and the condition of your records can affect the lifespan of the cartridge.
The part subject to wear and tear is not the diamond, but the rubber-silicone overlay of the cantilever, which can lose flexibility over the years.
If you suspect wear and tear of your cartridge, you can have it double-checked at our store located at Sheikh Zayed Road.
Yes, with an appropriate armboard, Clearaudio tonearms can be mounted on turntables made by different manufacturers. In these cases the manufacturer of the turntable will provide the required armboard. Please contact the manufacturer for more information.
If your turntable manufacturer needs the layout of the drill holes of the armboard, you'll find them in every Clearaudio tonearm manual.
