Unveiled in 1963, the Klipsch La Scala packs the classic Klipschorn magic into a smaller, yet equally powerful package. This legendary loudspeaker is a modern update of its iconic predecessor, offering contemporary sound and aesthetics while staying true to the core principles developed by Paul W. Klipsch over 60 years ago.

THREE-WAY, HORN-LOADED EFFICIENCY
La Scala’s three-way, horn-loaded system delivers exceptional efficiency. In the AL6 model, each driver is precisely paired with a dedicated horn, optimized for one of three passbands. This design produces greater acoustic power with less wattage, resulting in crystal-clear sound and minimal distortion across the entire frequency range.

EXTENDED PHASE PLUG FOR HEAVENLY HIGHS
The K-771 compression driver is now paired with a newly patented, extended phase plug that prevents wave cancellations and equalizes wavelengths for cleaner dispersion. This results in wider sound coverage and improved clarity.

3” COMPRESSION DRIVER BOOSTS POWER
The new midrange K-1133-HP compression driver is an upgrade from previous AL5 models, adding a full inch in size. This increased compression area enhances sound pressure to the horn’s throat, delivering fuller, more dynamic volume.

ENHANCED SOUNDSTAGE WITH MUMPS & TRACTRIX TECHNOLOGY
The AL6 features the new K-406M patented Tractrix midrange horn with a 2” throat, providing unmatched presence and precision. Mumps technology enhances coverage and maintains consistent frequency response at the horn’s edges by incorporating small contour improvements.

BRING OUT THE BASS
For the first time, the La Scala features a patented horn-loaded, vented bass system—combining the benefits of horn-loading and bass reflex design. The K-281 12” woofer, paired with a folded horn and housed in a newly designed enclosure, delivers deeper, more robust bass, regardless of room placement.

OPTIONAL HERITAGE ACTIVE CROSSOVER FOR ENHANCED PERFORMANCE
For even greater performance, users can add the Heritage Active Crossover, specially tuned for La Scala. Derived from the flagship Jubilee loudspeakers, this active DSP system aligns time and phase while boosting frequencies and refining EQ for a flat, natural, and color-free response.
