It features a belt-drive turntable with a 7-pound machined aluminum platter and a pre-installed Sumiko Olympia Moving Magnet cartridge for exceptional vinyl playback. Its preamplifier stage employs two glowing 12AX7a vacuum tubes for warm, musical sound, feeding an 80 Watt per channel (8Ω) Class D amplifier.

Digital capabilities include Bluetooth 4.2 with aptX™ HD, plus optical and coaxial inputs. An additional RCA input allows for external sources. With a High Drive Headphone Amplifier, subwoofer output, and iconic McIntosh black glass design, the MTI100 delivers powerful, versatile, and aesthetically stunning performance for discerning listeners.
