At its core is a custom-engineered 12-inch glass fibre driver, powered by a potent 1.0kW RMS Class-D amplifier. This combination allows for exceptional linear excursion and dynamic output, extending deep into the infrasonic range. Advanced DSP and a 32-bit ARM processor enable precise control, accessible via a 2.4-inch touchscreen display or a dedicated smartphone app, offering features like a 10-band parametric EQ.

The R12s is THX Ultra certified, ensuring it can reach reference levels with low distortion. When used in multiples, it contributes to THX Dominus certification for very large rooms.
