The Perlisten R210s Subwoofer is a high-performance active subwoofer from Perlisten Audio’s R-Series, engineered to deliver formidable and accurate bass from its dual 10-inch sealed design. It features two 10-inch HPF (Hybrid Pulp Fiber) drivers in an opposed, force-canceling configuration, driven by a powerful 1.2kW (1200 Watts) RMS Class-D amplifier. This combination ensures deep, articulate, and dynamic low-frequency reproduction down to 17 Hz (-6dB THX EQ), with minimal cabinet resonance.

A sophisticated DSP engine, accessible via a 2.4-inch LCD touchscreen and a comprehensive smartphone app, provides advanced control, including a 10-band parametric EQ for precise room optimization. The R210s is THX Ultra certified (with a single unit) and can achieve THX Dominus certification when used in pairs, guaranteeing reference-level output with exceptionally low distortion. Weighing in at 44kg, the relatively compact Perlisten R210s subwoofer is no lightweight. Designed to produce the thunderous LFE soundtracks of modern movies, it is also extremely adept at reproducing the fine nuances hidden in such low bass, usually ignored by most subwoofers. Its speed and agility is betrayed by its appearance, making it a surprising performer in many ways.

The dual 10", bespoke glass-fiber bass drivers are designed and made by Perlisten, and claim a +/-20mm linear excursion.

The push/pull arrangement of the two drivers reduces distortions by to 10-12dB, producing much cleaner output than single driver and even conventional dual-driver subs.

The sealed cabinet helps produce a smooth in-room response compared to ported subwoofers.

The downloadable control app allows set up and adjust of the R210s from your listening position. There's three modes to choose from (cut, boost, or THX), and set the 10-band parametric equaliser to help smooth out its response in your room. Three individual presets allow easy switching between movie/music listening.

A single R210s subwoofer is certified to THX Ultra, specification, and produces a bass response that is almost identical to its bigger brothers - it just doesn't play as loudly.
