The Perlisten R5i-LR In-wall Speaker offers uncompromised home theater audio in a discreet, architectural form factor. As part of Perlisten Audio’s R-Series, this 3-way passive loudspeaker is designed for flush in-wall installation, perfectly timbre-matching with its freestanding counterparts. It features Perlisten’s signature DPC-Array, composed of three 26mm silk dome drivers, precisely controlling sound dispersion for accurate imaging and consistent sound across the listening area, even from behind a wall. Two 6.5-inch HPF woofers deliver robust and articulate bass.

Critically, the R5i-LR is THX Ultra and THX Dominus certified. This ensures it can achieve reference-level sound pressure and maintain extremely low distortion, making it suitable for demanding cinematic experiences in large rooms. Ideal for custom installations as main L/R, surround, or height channels, the Perlisten R5i-LR combines high-fidelity performance with an invisible aesthetic, requiring a quality external amplifier and proper in-wall cavity.

The next level in-wall with Directivity control to even lower frequencies while enabling a DPC array and timbre matching not only in the raw materials but in the critical frequency response, power response, phase. Based on the R5t tower, the R5i-LR is THX Dominus surround and Ultra LCR certified. A true value in the medium size home theater in-wall compared to almost any in-wall on the market and can be utilized as an LCR with an acoustically transparent screen or as an LR in the Media room.

Based largely on the R5m. Adapted for inwall applications. Shallow 4” mounting depth and integral aluminum extrusion rear enclosure insure consistent performance and minimal sound propogation to adjacent rooms. Sharing “trickle-down” technology from our flagship S-Series, the DPC-Array here based on three 26mm domes, guarantees excellent directivty control and timbre matching with all R-Series speakers.

The Silk diaphrams developed ground up, chosen specifically their smooth, effortless representaion of midrange and treble. The 165mm woofers are made from our proprietary HPF pulp, two years in devlopment, bringing new technolgy to one of the oldest materials used in loudspeaker design. All R-Series speakers share the same DPC-Array and benefit from our unique timbre matching technique across the entire series. Another Perlisten inwall loudspeaker to be certified for THX Dominus – their highest rating.
