The HiFi Rose RSA780 CD Player/Ripper is a premium external CD drive meticulously engineered to complement HiFi Rose’s acclaimed range of network streamers. Designed for audiophiles who wish to integrate their physical CD collection into their digital ecosystem, the RSA780 excels in both high-quality CD playback and convenient, lossless ripping.

Central to its performance is a robust anti-vibration design. Its heavy (0.9 kg) solid aluminum chassis and internal high-performance insulators effectively minimize motion noise and external vibrations, ensuring accurate data retrieval from discs. The RSA780 connects via a USB Type-B port and incorporates USB Isolator technology, which electrically separates the drive from the host streamer, allowing only pure music data to be transmitted. It even includes a high-grade RSA705 7N OCC USB cable for optimal signal integrity.

Operation is intuitive through the connected HiFi Rose streamer’s touchscreen and the Rose Connect App. Users can effortlessly play CDs or rip them to FLAC, FLAC (compressed), or WAV formats, with automatic metadata and album art retrieval. A toggle switch allows selection between “Isolation Mode” for pristine playback or “Normal Mode” for ripping. Compact and elegantly designed, the HiFi Rose RSA780 is the ideal companion for seamlessly integrating your CD library into your HiFi Rose digital audio system.
