A world class 2-channel little brother to the S7t with nearly the same SPL, sensitivity, and low frequency output. The S5t can also be sealed or vented for the best integration into any room, and the same exquisite DPC array, for THX certified Dominus surround or Ultra LCR home theater applications. Proof that a speaker can do both applications seamlessly.

Borrowing its technology from our flagship S7t. The more modestly sized S5t mirrors many of the S7t attributes. Featuring our proprietary DPC-Array controlling Mid/High frequencies, centered by our finest 28mm Beryllium dome and dual 28mm TPCD ultra-lightweight domes. All transducers are developed ground up by our engineers – bringing decades of research, culminating in this world class design. We teamed up with companies in the USA and Sweden to bring modern material science to hi-fi. Utilizing advanced Comsol acoustical modeling, our DPC-array is the result of 18 months of painstaking simulations and prototyping. The result is one of the most technologically advanced loudspeakers available.
This new tweeter/waveguide DPC-Array delivers amazing accuracy, smoothness, and directivity control to handle the critical vocal range and delicate treble. All S-Series speakers share the same DPC-Array and benefit from our unique timbre matching technique across the entire series. Custom bass drivers made from thin-ply carbon diaphragms (TPCD) can be configured as bass reflex or acoustic suspension and adjusted for listener preference. True full range performance with unparalleled dynamic range and musical finesse.
Perlisten Audio’s S5t is specifically designed to meet the demands of large-scale listening rooms. Three 28mm beryllium drivers and two 28mm TeXtreme drivers are complemented by two 180mm TeXtreme woofers, featuring carbon fiber cones that are up to 30 percent lighter than standard carbon fiber while increasing the strength through the stacking of multiple layers.
The S5t achieves the goal of total harmonic distortion (THD) rated below .5% at 90 dB listening levels, and distortion limits at 114.3 dB SPL.
Dominus is the newest and the largest performance class of THX Certification, meant to bridge the gap between large home theater speakers and those used in commercial movie theaters and exhibits. Home theater owners with rooms up to 184 cubic meters of space and up to a 6-meter viewing distance (or up to 6500 cubic feet and up to 20 feet, respectively) can fill their listening rooms with the superior audio quality they expect from THX Certified products.
