The Stax SR-L300 Electrostatic Headphones offer an exceptional entry point into the world of Stax’s renowned electrostatic “earspeakers.” Utilizing a push-pull electrostatic oval sound element with a hand-selected thin-film diaphragm and tough stainless fixed electrodes, the SR-L300 delivers a remarkably clear, detailed, and balanced sound across an expansive 7 Hz−41,000 Hz frequency range.

Designed for comfortable, extended listening, these open-back headphones feature a lightweight build with a stepless adjustable headband and high-quality synthetic leather earpads. The SR-L300 comes with a fixed 2.5-meter low-capacitance OFC cable, optimized for electrostatic signal transmission. With a sensitivity of 101 dB and requiring a 580V DC Pro bias, it ensures a transparent and natural audio experience. It’s crucial to note that like all Stax electrostatic headphones, the SR-L300 requires a dedicated electrostatic amplifier (energizer) to operate. This combination unlocks the SR-L300’s ability to provide a taste of high-end electrostatic fidelity, celebrated for its speed, resolution, and airy soundstage.

Top Quality Sound Element
Hand selected thin-film diaphragm as well as tough stainless fixed electrodes has been employed for the SR-L300. Thus, rich deep bass response, delicate high frequency and soothing mid-range has been achieved in a balanced manner.

Slide type Headband Assembly
The headband (ARC) assembly of the SR-L300 is equipped with stepless slider mechanism for head pad height adjustment.

New Low Capacitance OFC Wide Cable
OFC cable has been employed for the core wires. The entire cable are then arranged in a flat, WIDE format configuration to lower the capacitance between each wires and finished with the most suitable structure to drive the earspeaker.
