The “Unveiled” name stems from its fully open-back construction, which eliminates traditional grilles and associated sound reflections, leading to an even purer and more direct sonic output. To protect the exposed drivers, HIFIMAN includes innovative Magnetic Veils that snap on when not in use. A key internal upgrade is a newly developed Nanometer Thickness Diaphragm utilizing a silver conductor layer. This significantly boosts sensitivity to 86 dB and lowers impedance to 45Ω, making the Susvara Unveiled noticeably easier to drive than its predecessor, allowing it to scale effectively with a wider range of high-end amplifiers.
