Legendary Audio Performance
Audeze engineers the world’s best audio gear for gamers, audiophiles, and professionals worldwide.

Driver Technology
Audeze’s patented planar magnetic driver technology sets the standard for audio clarity and detail. Penrose Fluxor™ magnet array delivers double the power of other Neodymium headphone drivers, while Audeze’s Fazor™ waveguides and Uniforce™ voice coils reduce distortion to near zero.

Dual 2.4GHz | Bluetooth Connection
Penrose and Penrose X feature a high-performance dual wireless connection. Players can connect to their console or desktop over lossless, low latency 2.4GHz wireless using the included USB dongle. The onboard Bluetooth 5.0 can be paired simultaneously with 2.4GHz wireless, so players can chat from their mobile device without interrupting their gameplay experience.

Broadcast Quality Microphone
Penrose’s flexible and detachable broadcast-quality boom microphone is specifically engineered for enhanced chat and streaming. With a max SPL of more than 140dB and built-in noise filters that reduce up to 20dB of background sound, players can communicate with greater confidence.

Audeze HQ |Desktop and Mobile Apps
The Audeze HQ apps for Windows, Android (available now) and Mac (coming soon) enable a variety of advanced functionality for the Penrose and Penrose X. Featuring a 10 band graphic EQ interface, sidetone toggling, and real-time voice-to-chat mix for Xbox Series X, Audeze HQ gives gamers unprecedented control over their audio experience.

– How is Penrose different from Mobius?
Penrose is a Lossless, Low-Latency Wireless headset. While it does look like Mobius, it does not feature any of the 3D audio or head tracking technology included in Mobius. If you’re looking for a truly wireless gaming headset for a console or PC, Penrose is the one for you!
– Is Penrose Dual-Band Wireless?
No. Penrose features a Dual Wireless connection, meaning you can use it over 2.4GHz wireless and/or Bluetooth. It does not support 5GHz connection.
– What’s the difference between Penrose and Penrose X?
Penrose is compatible with PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 gaming consoles, as well as Windows and Macintosh systems. Penrose X is designed for Xbox, and is compatible with Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, as well as Windows systems.
– Will Penrose and Penrose X support Dolby Atmos, DTS-X, Windows Sonic, Tempest, etc for 3D audio rendering?
Both versions of Penrose appear to the source device as a 2-channel USB headset, so any processing that happens upstream will be transmitted appropriately. As long as the headset is not required to do any processing of its own, any spatial audio system will work.
– Does Penrose support audio over its USB-C port?
Penrose supports audio over 2.4gHz wireless, analog or Bluetooth only. The USB port is for charging, programming and firmware updates (you can charge and play at the same time).
– What is the warranty period on Penrose?
The Penrose warranty period is one year from the original date of purchase unless mandated by local laws. Full warranty terms are here.
– How does Penrose actually work?
For info about how to use Penrose, we invite you to check out Audeze’s Penrose Technical Questions help page, where you’ll find the complete user guide, setup tips, troubleshooting, and more!
