The MSB Technology The Network Renderer V2 is a pivotal input module for MSB’s high-end DACs, transforming them into cutting-edge network audio streamers. Designed and developed in-house by MSB, this module allows seamless playback of digital audio from network-attached storage (NAS) devices, music servers, or streaming services, acting as a Roon Ready endpoint and supporting UPnP/DLNA protocols.

A key differentiator is its comprehensive galvanic isolation, completely separating the noisy network environment from the DAC’s sensitive audio circuitry. This, combined with an ultra-low noise A5 processor and synchronization with the DAC’s master clock, ensures an exceptionally clean and jitter-free digital signal.

The Renderer V2 supports high-resolution PCM files up to 32 bit/768 kHz, DSD up to 4xDSD, and includes full hardware-based MQA decoding. Its compact, low-EMI design and support for over-the-air updates ensure future-proofing. By integrating directly into the DAC’s modular chassis, the MSB Network Renderer V2 provides an unparalleled, high-fidelity solution for network-based music playback, delivering a transparent, dynamic, and immersive listening experience.
